I Hope You Dance

Tyler Perry fans, this is the song that he talked about during some of his interviews and in his email that he had Gladys Knight record for "The Family That Preys" (it plays at the end). I couldn't find a video of Gladys singing it but I'm sure you'll love this one.

All of you who are disappointed that either Senator Clinton loss her campaign or that there are no candidates you "like"... I hope you dance all the way to the polls to make sure that Barack Obama is elected President on November 4th. You may not like him for whatever reason, but if you're honest with yourself, you know that he's our best chance for getting out of the deep hole this country is in. DANCE!!!

Don't you just love this song? Our Praise Dancers ministered with this song last year at church, and it was wonderful.

Keep up the good work with your posts.

Hello Marcos,

All of my searches came up empty as well. I don't think that the soundtrack is available, yet. As soon as I find out otherwise, I'll let you know.

Thanks for stopping by.

I too looked for this song by Gladys Knight. It has been posted on You-Tube. I Hope You Dance was also performed by Oleta Adams on the CD All The Love.

Hi, For everyone out there who've been tired looking for 'I hope you dance' Gladys

Knight's version. Maybe I can help a little. Just for the record I love this song

very very much, I love the content of lyrics it's really meaningful and you know by

the end of movie "Family That Preys" Alice said the word exactly like the lyrics to

honour charlotte in funeral.

Many others says knight's version is better than womack's That's why the producer

won't lauch the soundtrack. But I thought womack has her own way to to sing this

song and she has beautiful voice and for Knight wow ... she has powerful voice and

make this song incredibly beautiful.

Here's the link for the song:
http://rapidshare.com/files/200209962/Gladys_Knight_-_I_Hope_You_Dance.mp3

But, this is not original version, I extracted from the movie source and convert it

into MP3 and there is sound like engine start, clutch, etc which is very difficult

to cut it out. But I cut the part when Alice say "Let's just hit north". So it's

not perfect but good.

I hope ya'll enjoy it
