Craig Harvery, of the L.A. County Coroner's Office, announced moments ago that the official cause of death of the undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has been deferred pending further testing. These include toxicology, neuropathology and pulmonary tests. An additional 4 to 6 weeks is needed to complete the examination. Harvey reported that there was no indication of foul play or physical trauma to Jackson's body which is available for release to the family once a private mortuary has been selected. Harvey refused comment on whether evidence of specific drugs was found during the autopsy such as demerol.Bestselling author Deepak Chopra has said publicly that he realized years ago that his dear friend was addicted to pain killers used for various medical issues to include Lupus and back pain. Jackson had reportedly received a shot of demerol prior to his untimely death.
