Free Tuition for Nursing Program *** Closed Permanently

Dear Readers,

When information is passed on to me from others, I usually check it out prior to posting it here. However, in this instance, I did not take the time to do that because the email indicated that this had already been done and it was legitimate. Since this post was done in May originally, it could have been true at that time. Today's date is July 9, 2009 and the information on the Urban Alliance Foundation's website states that the UA is no longer enrolling students for the Health Alliance Program and will not do so ever again. No reason is offered but site visitors are asked not to inquire about the program.

In my estimation, phrases such as "no longer" and "We will not enroll participants ever again" indicate that at some point, the UA was involved with the program and enrollment of participants.

With that said, a simple visit to the website renders the original post below or any other posts on other websites or blogs obsolete.

My thanks to tasha18 for taking me to task on this post! If you are searching for a way to pay for your college costs, keep looking. There are many programs out there to assist students in achieving their goals. Nursing tends to be a field that is always experiencing a shortage, so I would think that finding scholarships, grants, and the like is an obtainable goal. Best of luck in your quest!
